Went down pretty hard last weekend. Dislocated AC joint of shoulder, badly sprained thumb, copious road rash. Luckily I took all the damage, very minor cosmetic only damage to my bike 😄
Shoulder is almost to the point of supporting my weight without major discomfort, thumb will shift again (Campy) if I'm careful, road rash doesn't matter. I'll be out of town a couple of days on business and then it's back in the saddle. It's almost like getting a new bike .. I'm so excited.

My last spill cost me seven weeks off the bike, and I think about it daily -- not a fear of it happening again, but a caution against doing something stupid to cause it again. Right turns are still a bit 'tender' -- R collarbone has stainless & 8 screws -- just because a slide-out could be devastating.
But the 'new bike' feeling was there when I got back on -- and the joy still wells up EVERY day!
