I'm having a few problems centering the wheels in my bike's frame. I do up the nuts evenly on both sides, but just as they get to the point where I have to nip them up with a spanner, the axles move in the dropouts. This pushes the wheels off centre.
I am thinking that putting some washers between the nuts and the frame will fix this, because there are no washers there ATM. Am I right?
Turn the bike over, rubber side up. ๐ Do the nut on the Derailleur side first, snug not tight then do the other nut snug not tight, while holding the wheel centre, in the midle of the chian stay. Then tighten both nuts to tension. ๐
