I recently bought the Avocet Vertech watch with a dead
battery. I easily managed to place a fresh battery in it.
Now I'm confronted with being on an altitude of 38470Ft
(11750m and I'm on sea level!)and a temperature of 118F (48C
whilst it should read 19C). This seems not to be correct! I
read some earlier postings on the subject of exchanging the
battery and resetting it but this was not helping me at all.
Is it too early to assume that the watch is beyond repair or
is there a way to have altitude and temperature readings
correctly.
Could there be something went wrong when placing the
new battery?
