Not to sure if this is an Australian Fourm but i have been riding on the track now for three months and quite enjoy cycing 1 it opens your lungs and improves your legs mussel. I've always have had asthmas but i know how to control it in and around the public.
I training up for the 2008 Paralympic Games i have B12 symptoms and looking for a deit program if you can help out that will be great.
good to hear new people are starting the sport in aust, seems not to be too many of us!! because gravity is not a very important force to resist on track, body weight is not as big an issue as on road. for this reason, the best diet is one which allows you to have enough energy to train and race. to this end, any normal, healthy diet, being rich in fruit and veges, plenty of carbs for energy, moderate protein, moderate fat intake is probably best. hope all goes well.
