If an athlete claims to have a naturally high count of a certain substance like testosterone, hematocrit level, etc., why cant that be simply proven or compared to by the previous drug tests they have had whether it is a in-competition or out-of-competition. Does WADA keep any of those records, like in a data base so that one can determine that there is a naturally high occurrence of a certain substance. They were able to come up with the 50% hematocrit level rule, I guess through all the tests, data & knowledge they have collected over the years.
Its like every time when you go to your doctor for a examination, he keeps those records, I'm sure the next time you go back and a number seems a little off, he goes back through your previous records to see what those numbers normally were.
Floyd won this year Paris-Nice, Tour of California & the Tour of Georgia, I'm sure he was drug tested at those races & probably was tested other times, so if those records were kept they could go back and say, yes this X substance has been at or within this level the whole year or past few years. Who knows how many times these top guys were tested, this past year & previous years, should have a pretty good idea where their numbers usually are.
Does this seem plausible?
