A tiny splinter of glass penetrated tire and tube last week. Fortunately I knew enough to go looking for it before I fixed the flat. Just to be safe, I made a boot from a dollar bill.
Now that the tire is back on and the new tube is inflated, I cannot find the puncture in the tire.
So my question is, Should I replace this tire before my next big ride? Or is a small puncture like this one functionally insignificant?

My rule of thumb, which has served me well for many years: Any tire puncture damage that you can't find on casual inspection is not important. Ride on.
