Hello All:
It has been a while since we posted an upload to The Artisan web site.
To tell the truth, it feels good to finally get a bit of time to do
so.
We have added a new Feature Article that covers a number of difficult
to obtain Italian cured meats. The degree of difficulty depends upon
where in the world one lives. Salumi Artisan Cured Meats and Hobbs
Apple Smoked Meats make two of the best product lines we have ever
tasted. Interestingly the Salumi line is made by the parents of
Mario Batali, something we did not know until we spoke to Chef
Batali's Mom.
Additionally we have added recipes of dishes made with these products.
The links for all are shown below:

To access these files one can use the links above or can find them on
the New Stuff Page:

The Feature Article about these two companies can also be found on the
Main Page:

The Resource Page - http://www.theartisan.net/Resources.htm - on The
Artisan includes contact information for both sources.
We have no affiliation with these companies. We, like many who do not
live in a vast urban area, need sources of good foods. In researching
foods, we came upon the two companies featured on The Artisan. We
purchased products from both, and tested them in our kitchen. In a
word they are delicious!
Please note that any errors in the information presented are ours and
not anyone else's. If you have comments or wish to contact us you can
do so by email - [email hidden].
Regards,
Jerry @ the Artisan
