Another good one :
Location: Brighton(ish)
Out with Dave (yet again) and Phil this white van overtakes the three of us BUT totally misjudges the speed of an on coming car - and so has to swerve( towards phil ) to stop itself from having a head on RTA.
The white van is now at a stop perhaps 10m ahead of me - I see phil knocking on the drivers window and I arrive just in time to see phil spit (yuck I know) in the drivers face.
Phil just stands where he is and says to the bloke "Drive like again mate and that'll be BLOOD you're wiping off your face, alright?"
Huge amount of traffic has now built up, van driver just drives off.
"Phil" was ********* amateur boxing champion.
Lucky escape Mr van driver, lucky escape.
This is my best experience:
I was riding towards a set of traffic lights at a busy cross roads.
The lights turned to red just as I arrived - so I was the first vehicle in the queue.
Was aware of a jeep which had pulled up close to my rear wheel
Lights changed to green - I pulled away missed the pedal trying to re clip and subsequently started to wobble
Of course the Jeep hadn't accounted for this and so I almost fall into the bonnet as it passes.
Across the lights, traffic holts the jeep, and I pull along side the driver's window to appologise for the wobble,
Driver calls me a stupid c*nt, and so I hit the roof of the jeep in anger and decide to turn immediately right, jeep is stuck so he can't follow.
The next car to pass me is the same car that I pulled in front of to go round to the jeep driver's window - a grey ford focus.
The driver would have seen the whole episode.
The driver of the ford focus waved as he passed - I realised that the car was that of my girlfriend's father Mr John ********, acting detective chief inspector for the ********* police force.
I guess it helps to have friends in the "right" places.
He sort of commended me on my use of "french" when displaying my anger at the jeep driver.
