I'm planning a trip up this way this coming weekend - can you wait
until next Monday for an answer?

Hi Stuart,
The gate at Killilan isn't normally locked. There is one further down
the glen though, which is locked.
The track is easy cycling. Tarmac initially, followed by normal stony
track with occasional tarmac sections. Cars occasionally drive down it
to Carnach and Iron Lodge.
Not sure about the bridge (I was there in 2003 and it was fine).
Carnach is an estate house, like Iron lodge. I've seen vehicles at
both, but they look like prvate houses. Track goes past both.
Cycling to Iron lodge takes about an hour, and is straightforward.
Careful of the highland cattle though, especially if they are with
calf - we had to wade the river in order to avoid being chased by very
protective mums!
Excellent access to An Socach and Mullach na Dheiragain from here.

Looks like its going to be a windy weekend, goodluck!
Next time the weathers lookin good i will be doing Ceathreamhan and
Dheiragain via the falls of Glomach and Iron Lodge
Check out the bridge over the Elchaig just downstream from Loch na
Leitreach, I am sure I have read somewhere of it being washed out, If it
has, what is the croosing like ?
Also does the car park look OK for overnighting in, (i.e.. is it quite flat
and well away from houses) I would probably arrive 1 or 2 in the morning and
just doss in the back of the van!

Car park is fine, and far enough from houses. There is a sign saying
no overnight parking - but isn't there always?!!!!
