Apple Slaw
1 head green cabbage
2 lbs. apples
1/3 cup Borden's realemon
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 Tbsp. celery seed
1 cup mayonnaise
Salt & pepper to taste
Shred the cabbage, wash and slice the apples. Don't bother to peel the
apples as skin adds flavor and color. Toss the slices in lemon juice so
they won't turn brown. Add the sugar, celery seed and mustard, and combine
with the cabbage and apples. Add the mayonnaise and the salad will shrink
like magic. Salt and pepper to taste. Feeds a crowd - at least 12.
