  1. I completely forgot to suggest it until this moment.... it's very
    simple and hopefully you have the ingredients on hand: celery, dried
    cranberries, (shelled) walnuts or pecans and cream cheese.

    Pulverize a mixture of dried cranberries and nuts (walnut or pecan) in
    a mini food processor, combine with softened cream cheese and stuff
    celery sticks. That's it! Refrigerate, then cut the celery sticks
    into 3 inch lengths. Serve on a pretty plate. Yum!

    If you can't make it for Thanksgiving, save the idea for xmas. It
    works then too.
