  1. I am looking for a new Wheelset and my greedy eyes fell on :

    DT 240s Hubs
    RR 1.1 Rims
    Aerolite spokes.

Pricey.. It's more expensive as Campa Eurus/ Ksyrium SSC.

But it has more "standard" parts, weighs a tad less (810 back, 700 front) and because of their normal spoke patern they seem to be sturdy, yet comfy.

Mode of use : C cat cycling, but truth is no wheelset would make me a star.
    My weigth: 65 kg's.

  2. I too have the DT Hugi hubs on Mavic CXP33 anthracite 32H rims and double butted DT spokes and aluminum nipples sealed w/ loctite. They're by far the most solid wheels I've used and classy too. Somehow I like the traditional look and feel of 'regularly' laced-up wheels and the cartridge bearings on the Hugi hubs are as sweet as the ball bearings on a Campagnolo Record.

  3. Well I just jumped up and down on the "sensible" part of my brain and gave two thumbs up to the "greedy" side🙂

    Front
    240s Radial(red)
    28 Aerolite spokes
    Prolock ALU DT Nipples
    RR 1.1 Rims

    Back
    240s red
    32 spokes
    Prolock ALU DT Nipples
    RR 1.1 Rims
Chorus Cassette (My sensible side won one small victory)

I ordered them... today my bikeshop will tell me how much the damage will be. My prediction is 800-850 Euro *cringes*.
