Has anyone ever tried one of those Garment bag Panniers, in which you can put a suit, keep it from getting wrinkled, and still commute to work?

Yes I used one of these quite a bit in the past. I have to admit I never put a suit in it. My work is casual so no need. It kept my pants and shirt wrinkle free though. I probably looked better using it. Since my clothing did not get wrinkles while on the train. I got mine at performance many years ago worked like a charm. Not entirely waterproof though. So if it rained I put everything in an old dry cleaning bag than into the pannier.
