Has anyone bought stuff from Culverhouse (www.culverhouse.co.uk) ?
Prices seem good but they have a very unusual java-based credit card
authorisation scheme that doesn't show a normal 'secure' icon .. I'm
a bit dubious about it.

I'm surprised at the comment that the 'prices seem good'. I live ten
minutes walk from them, and whilst I frequently call in to browse, I've
never noticed them to be particularly cheap - often the opposite. I'll
have to look more closely next time!

Maybe the web prices are different ?
They seem to be about the same as Gearzone, and much cheaper than F&T.
And they had the headtorch I wanted for about 10 quid less than RRP
and 6 less than I'd found it elsewhere. But if there's somewhere else
I should look, I'm interested .. I normally buy locally as I like
to try things out, but can't find this item.
