In my area in the fall we get lots of goatheads (punture type weeds) on the road. I would get at least one flat every ride. So I got to thinking and I tried a McGuyver on my tires. I cut strips of duct tape lengthwise in half and lined the inside of the tire. Since then no flats.
I figured the cost was well nothing and it would not add as much weight as a pair of armadillos
Anyone else tried something like this. If it works...😎
