  1. I am considering purchasing a Kelly frame. (http://www.kellybike.com/2nd_road1.html)

Is anyone ever ridden one, know anyone who has or otherwise know anything about them? On the good side, a good local shop (cycle path in Portland, Oregon) is the local dealer. On the bad side, Kelly has only a one year warranty on their frames, which seems a bit short.

Any insights or advice would help. I am also considering buying a Lemond sarthe, another steel frame bike.

A very good local shop here has a lot of good things to say about Kelly frames and from looking at them, they seem like high quality and you get almost 20 different color options. I didn't get to test ride one though.

Buy the Lemond. You will go to the grave worrying about that 1 year warranty.
