  1. Not much time left. Going to do the 40km MTB race on the saterday and the 94.7 road race on sunday, and hopefully then get that special medal ๐Ÿ˜„
Kinda worried about the 94.7 this year, did it last year in 4:01 on my mountain bike with slicks. This year I am ALOT fitter but doing it on a roadbike, got one about a week ago. Leg's not quite used to pushing those big gears but trying to get as much time as possible on the road bike.

For anyone that does not know, the 94.7 is one of the largest cyclying races in South Africa, about 14 000 people pitch up.

Does everyone get timed with winningtime or championchip? I remember they used to use these things to give everybody an accurate time and finish position, worked so well. Don't have anything like that over here, so I'm definitaley looking to doing one of the big races (Argus perhaps) in SA in the coming years.

When is the race? All the best and let us know how you get on.

  3. Yup it's a winningtime chip race. Mmmhh...need to go search for my chip. Race is on 20Nov, quite looking forward to the race.
