Well, I've tried 3 times now to get DirecTV but it's a no-go: Apparently I've got too many trees in my backyard and uprooting them just isn't a possibility. I've been trying to keep up by either dropping my buddy's house to watch his DirecTV, watching the way-too-brief clips on OLNTV.com and listening to the audio on their web site. Oh yeah, this Sunday I tuned into CBS. Arrrgh! How awful was that? I've emailed my local cable operator, the dreaded Cablevision, about picking up OLN but they basically told me yeah, yeah, yeah. Anyway, had to vent.
you must live on Long Island just like me. regardless, being OLN-less should be a crime, I am w/o it as well. arghh.

My cable operator (Time Warner) won't take requests for ONL because they claim they already offer it, and all I'd have to do is upgrade to their pricy digital package. [censored]! What they have is the Outdoor Channel, a nonstop orgy of huntin' and fishin' and four-wheelin' and bass boats.
Like you, I can't use a dish because of trees.
Oh, well, at least the riding is good around here.

Yes, I live on LI too. But you obviously missed the recent hour (!) of coverage on CBS that gave you a whole week's worth of news, melodrama, and commercials. And some racing, it must be admitted. But not much. What can you expect, though ...
