I know that SRM do a compact but my carbon bike has a triple which I use for my trips over to France. I know other riders will prefer compacts but I personally prefer triples to compacts.
From the research I've done it seems that the Saris powertap would be the only PM that's compatible with a triple chainring because it is a hub-based measuring system. Would I be right in thinking that or would the powertap not work with a triple? Are there other solutions?

Powertap seems to be the best solution for you, I even would chose it because it offers better value for money, plus you can easly use it other bikes to, there are even option for mtb s.
