Hey, I am getting a new mountain bike soon and would like to know if anyone has had any good or bad luck with any of these brands or bikes. I am looking at the Specialized Hardrock and an Iron Horse Mavrick or Warrior. I don't do any hard core down hill or huge jumps, but i would like a bike that i can beat the [censored] out of on the trails without any problem. Any opinions or experience with either brand would be awsome.
I mainly need a good reason why not to get one or the other. Thanks

The Mountain Bike Review website has reviews of the brands that you list written by owners, not journalists.mtbr.commtbr.comOpen ↗. You will also note that other than complete bikes, components are reviewed, a good way to know which bike is best equipped. I hope this helps
