  1. Folks,

Been a rough year given the weather down here in NC and my job but I am trying to build an endurance base. problem is i am stuck to riding rollers and a trainer with road time on the weekends. right now doing about 45 mins - 55 mins a night around zone 3-4 and one nice a week being zone 5 for about 30 mins. Likewise, Monday and Fri I put in a good 4 mile run generally zone 4 to zone 5.

    Ideas?

I'm in exactly the same position as you are.

I'm am bored with the rollers (can only manage about 1 hour per night on them).
I've tried to vary my training though : I go running some nights just to alternate the training regime.
On the occasional night when I'm feeling fit, I do approx a five mile run followed by a one hour session on the rollers.
The weekends are the only time that I get to do some outdoor cycling.
Just try to vary your training is my advice.
Either running or cycling exercises the heart : so either exercise
    is beneficial.
