  1. Greetings,
I have aquired a Trek "Full Suspension" bike and cannot find out anything about it on the web. The original owner peeled the trek stickers off, but the outline in the paint shows through. I believe the bike was built in 1996. from the seat forward it is Trek, but from the rear shock back is a straight bar that reads Shimano. This is where the rear tire connects. If you know anything about this type of set up, id like to know of a website that i can visit that might help me to build this bike. The bike came to me unassembled. Supposedly it is an expensive bike.

    David

  2. Pretty vague description! Does it have a "shock" that looks like a stack of little chocolate doughnuts? If so, you may want to consider sticking with a hardtail. Terrible design.

  3. TY for such a quick reply. Yes, It has a cloth covered spring that are stacked. Is there a place to go and look at info on these?. I will only be doing light off-road and street riding with this bike. I was wonder if there was a site that could tell me about this particular bike by s/n...the s/n is 1049199
