will there be any (positive?) changes to Melbourne's Beach Road for and after Commonwealth Games? I heard rumours about a permanent bicycle lane all the way from North Road, Brighton to Mordialloc and rumours about plans like no parking allowed from 6am-10am on weekends etc. Any truth to those rumours?
Given Sunday road closure of Kew Blvd on 12 Feb, 6am-12 noon, it would be great to have Beach Road close to cars for a mere 3 or 4 hours from ~6-7am until ~10am every Sat and Sun! Ok, I know I am dreaming and need to stop smoking $h1t 8^)
