grease works,but you won't go wrong with aitisieze or Ti prep either.

Titanium is an excellent material for cycling yet it requires some special care for the best results. To stop cold-welding or seizing of titanium components and fasteners, Finish Line offers Ti-Prep Anti-Sieze Lubricant. The blend of synthetic oils, graphite, bronze, copper and aluminum complex prevents titanium seizing.

You can get the same thing a lot cheaper at an auto parts store. It's recomended for steel bolts going into aluminum engine blocks.

I don't want to sound the "Fo(u)r Eyes TV commercial, but make sure it's the same thing.. ingredients vary.
You are right that there are alternative sources and amounts larger. Automotive industry has many formulations due to their applications. Heat in internal combustion adds to the corrosion issues. Making sure that mating threaded surfaces are clean and burr free ahead of time is also a very good idea.
