  1. I have had 2 heart attacks and am working hard to avoid a
third. Along with a load of other medication, statins etc
etc, I am taking the following drugs and supplements to
reduce platelet coagulation. Daily dosages are: 75 mg
Aspirin 75 mg Clopidogrel 1200 mg EPA & DHA Omega 3 Fish Oil

I would now like to start taking 500mg of curcumin per day
as well, as I have read that it can increase HDL ( my HDL is
low). However I have also read that it has powerful
antiplatelet properties as well. What concerns me is whether
I am in danger of overdoing it, the slightest knock brings
out a large bruise already. What worries me is if I cut
myself badly whether I would not be able to stop the
bleeding. Can anyone give me any advice please.

It sounds like you're already on a pretty rational regimen.
One possible addition might be Foltx (

You probably mean 81 mg of aspirin.

Would suggest you consult your doctor before starting this.

Your doctor (the person who knows your entire medical
history including the medications you are taking *plus* who
has examined you) would be the best source of specific
advice that goes beyond general information.

If you have metabolic syndrome (MetS) as suggested by the
low HDL, permanent weightloss is the only known "cure."
