  1. Reba,

Heads up! This is the kind of protein and carb combination that you
have been looking for. It is good to you and good for you. It is also
in exact accord with the principles of Natural Hygiene:

Two slices whole grain bread of your choice -or- you can put the dish
on top of various types of Asian noodles -or- Quinoa Macaroni

A slice of tofu sliced thick and lightly fried in unprocessed oil and
about a Tbs. of low-salt soy sauce

A generous helping of alfalfa sprouts

    and or

    Cucumber slices

    Tomato Slices

A spread of Almonaise* mixed with a teaspoon of miso and/or Dijon
    mustard

*Almonaise is a mayonnaise like product based on fresh almonds instead
of eggs. The recipe for it is in FIT FOR LIFE. It is absolutely
    delicious and very versatile.

    Enjoy!

    To your health,

    VP

    Would you post it, please?

  3. Almonaise
    an egg free like mayonnaise
    Yields 3-4 Cups

1/2 cup blanched almonds soaked overnight in about a cup of distilled
    or filtered water
1/2 cup distilled or filtered water
1 clove garlic, minced 1/8 tsp (optional)
    ½ tsp. spike, salt, optional
    2-3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    Dash cayenne, gr. pepper (optional)
2-3 Cups any cold-pressed natural oil

Blanch almonds by placing in boiling water for only 1 minute. Skins
    will pop off.

Place almonds and water into blender and blend on high until thick
cream forms. If needed add 1-2 more tablespoons water. Add garlic,
salt, lemon, while blender is on high.
Continue blending and adding oil in a slow drizzle.
When bubble of oil sits on top add oil in thin stream and continue
stirring with spoon as you blend.
Consistency will be like mayonnaise or soft cream cheese.
    Keeps refrigerated a week

Not really; NH disallows concentrated starch/concentrated protein
combinations because one requires an acid medium to digest properly, and the
other requires a neutral or alkaline environment to digest properly, so
obviously these common combinations are not readily digested together, since
an acid and alkaline can not exist in the same stomach at the same time.
