  1. And another fatality, as per The Age online today:

    *************

In Beechworth, a 36-year-old cyclist has been killed just 100 metres from his home at about 6am this morning.

Police said he died after he fell off his bicycle and landed in the gutter. It is believed the man was dead for some time before his body was found.

Police are still investigating the cause of death, but a police spokesman said the man had died from injuries sustained in the crash. The spokesman said the man was not wearing a helmet or using lights and had several facial injuries.

He was believed to have been riding between his mother's and father's homes.

    *************************

Dont you just love the way incidents are reported ie the cyclist *just* fell of his bike and died. Yeah .. right....

Silly git reportedly not wearing a helmet... so it *must* have been his own fault....

  2. See the dramatic affect parental separation can have on the lives of
    children!
