  1. I have read all I can about creatine, and I went and bought some (yet to
be taken). In terms of cost benefit, do you guys think it is worth while
for a person like me? Let me explain.

I realize that it's just your opinion and requires some higher order
specific workover but let me tell you my issue. I am 53 and lifting for
almost a year and doing real well. Goal is just fitness, weight loss
and hypertrophy. I have lost a lot of weight and now feel and look good.
I continue to gain in terms of strength and appearance. I do compound
lifts these days and never miss my 4 lifting sessions a week.

That isn't my issue, I think I am on the right track. My cardio vascular
system is all good these days even though I continue to take a blood
pressure med (low dose) which comes with a low dose diuretic. I read
here and there to avoid caffeine when on creatine (or taking a
diuretic). I also drink alcohol on a daily basis so that adds another
diuretic. As far as I know know my kidney's are fine. I eat red meat 3
times a week as well as take in a lot of protein via salmon, eggs, Tuna,
    chicken (and whey isolate).

So.., any comments as to whether somebody at age 53, with my
circumstances, would benefit or lose in an overall sense by taking creatine?

    Cheers
    ..
