If GC contender "M" goes on a solo flyer and opens up a two
minute gap in front of GC contenders "H", "U", and "A", and
then crashes (or rides into a ditch, or gets clotheslined by
a spectator), wouldn't it be unsportsmanlike for the chasers
to close the gap? Wouldn't fairness require the other riders
to slow down until "M" gets back on the bike?
