    Fungicidal treatment for control of a garden rot that affects many
    plants during cool, wet months.
    It has been widely used to protect ginseng crops.
    EPA considers QUINTOZENE to be a possible human carcinogen
    (cancer-causing agent).

    PENTACHLOROBENZENE
    Breakdown product of QUINTOZENE.
    The substance may have effects on the liver and kidneys,
    resulting in tissue lesions. Animal tests show that this
    substance possibly causes toxic effects upon human
    reproduction.

    TETRACHLOROANILINE
    Breakdown product of TECNAZENE.

    BHC (BENZENE HEXACHLORIDE)
    Probable human carcinogen. Toxic. Irritant.
    Hazardous decomposition product.

    PENTACHLOROANILINE
    Metabolite of QUINTOZENE.

    TECNAZENE
    Fungicide. Banned in the UK on 1/31/2000.
