I have a Cycleops fluid trainer that I'm finding a little frustrating. It seems like it's way too easy. I'm not a very strong rider but I have to be in the very highest gear to even feel it. Even then it's not very hard. Is something wrong with mine or do other people feel like this? I read a lot of reviews on this trainer and most people thought it was great. Please help. Did I buy the wrong trainer?

Stand by for stupid questions:
1) you have verified that the resistance unit is clamped firmly against your tire and not slipping? -
Second that, sounds like you dont have a good connection, does it get harder as you vary resistance

I'm going to guess that your trainer sprung a leak and all the fluid leaked out. This leaves it with essentially no resistance. -
It's not leaking and I do have it right up against the tire. I don't notice the resistance getting harder though. Any other thoughts?
