More home building questions. I stopped in, or called four exhaust shopsin my area. The only pipe that I can get is aluminum coated. Is it possibleto powder coat over this coating or should I try removing it (I plan onlightly grinding any weld surfaces)? If I need to remove it, any ideas onwhat might strip it? I've read that a caustic lye solution will mightdissolve the aluminum.
