Unless you're a professional bike rider I can't see the sense in paying $5,000 for a bike. I'm going to buy a new bike for $750. It's aluminum and I think it would be a good choice, because it's 27 gears. I've been using nothing but 10 speeds and I can't imagine hwo much faster I'll be able to go. I'm going to buy a 27 speed Schwinn super sport road bike. Does anyone else have any experience with this bike they could share?
