The steel forks on my Speed Ross are straight with no offset (rake)
and a 70 deg head angle. I was thinking of upgrading to a carbon fibre
which are available from Wound Up Composite Cycles. The forks they
offer have a 25mm Rake. Would this alter the handling to any degree
and if so, how would it affect it ?

Rake will make the handling lighter and more twitchy. The Ross bikes
handle very well.IMHO the Festina is the best handling low racer sold commercially.
You may or may not like it. The bike will feel racier and will require
