    You can be a bit of a voyeur and see what weather is like in places
    that are nice for bicycling both here (CA) and in the Alps:

    The ones in the Alps are +9 hours from PDT, and only the Stelvio has
    24hr street lighting. It is the one that is great to watch in the
    dead of winter, storm or calm, any time of day as the snow piles up.
    The summit sign was installed again last week.
