I've just taken delivery of an Alpkit 30 Litre Drysack. It's a bit like an Orlieb drybag - similar material and same closure system, but with a mesh shoulder harness, and a chest and waist strap. I bought it mainly as a daysack to take camera gear. I've got a couple of Lowepro camera bags with raincovers, but don't really trust them in a downpour.
I might even use it as a drybag in my trecking rucksac, and then use it for daytrips from a basecamp, rather than use the emptied main sack for day trips.

Tell us how you get on with it - I'm interested in it as a lightweight day sack. I do see one or two reviewers finding the straps too slippery and the waist band a bit thin.
