Alpha Q sub3 or Ouzo Pro?

I've only ridden the Sub3. I installed it as an upgrade to the stock fork on my 5500. I chose it because it allows more stack height than other similarly light forks. Rake and offset are similar to stock and I don't notice any change in ride quality (a simultaneous change to Mavic SSLs would mask any subtle changes anyway). Installing the aluminum insert was easy, and it can be cut up to 2cm later if I decide to drop the stem. I recommend it.

I've got the Ouzo Pro. Have not ridden a bike with the Alpha Sub 3, but my impression is that the Ouzo Pro is a stiffer fork than the Sub 3. I have a fairly stiff 58cm AL/CF frame, and the Ouzo Pro seems to go with it perfectly. Had considered other choices, but the builder here told me that the Ouzo Pro was the one to get.

The downhill handling and high speed stability is excellent on the Ouzo Pro, and the ride is fine. We have a lot of hills here, so I go for stiffness and strength in a fork rather than something light and flexy on a twisting, high speed descent. The best match may depend on your frame stiffness/size, your weight, and your riding style.
