  1. As we all know it, intense exercise releases natural opiates (or
something like that?), giving you a little pick-me-up. I wanna get the
most of this free and safe dope, so I need to know: for how long after
exercise do you get this high? Do you get more of it by aerobic or
anaerobic exercise? My gut feeling is, you get a more intense high from
anaerobic exercise, but it doesn't last as long as the one from aerobic
    exercise (like swimming).

    I wouldn't call it a pick-me-up. It is more like a lay-me-down, ie it
relaxes me. I think the endorphins just put you into the relaxed
state, but they don't keep you there. If something happens to roust
you out of your laid back state, it's over. Like, if you get up and go
    to work, it's over.
