It's for the same reason that drive-through cash machines have Braille
on the keyboard (i.e. that it's easier to make them all that way).

(There's a Braille edition of Playboy too, for people who really do get
it to read the articles not look at the photos.)

Ah but have you noticed that some ATM's have Braille instructions, and then a touchscreen to enter details (main culprit here is Citi Bank):-) (Noticed by partially sighted SWMBO)
