My new bike has alex dc-19 rims on. So far two spokes have broke on two seperate occasions. the lbs replaced the spokes under warranty and are trying to get me a new rim. Has anyone else had problems with the DC- 19's or other Alex rims. I run the correct pressure and ride strictly road. I haven't taken any hard hits either.

I've got about 3 1/2 months on Alex DA16 rims on my hybrid, so far so good - the spokes did loosen a little, but the lbs took care of it on the 90day check up. I belive that alex makes rims all across the quality/price range and rims like my DA16's are on the budget end of the range, but I'm hoping they hang in there.
General question here, if spokes break is it a question of the quality of the rim or the spokes themsevles??
dback, what were the circumstances leading up to the breaks?
