I got my Alertshirt package today.
Bright.
Sheesh, really bright. My green laser does a fabulous show on the
reflective striping.
But listen, if you order some of these, you've got to get a size
larger than you think you need.
Wicking knits usually stretch but the reflective taping on these
shirts doesn't give. Not at all. Not even a little bit. So if you like
to wear a stretchy medium to show off those abs or pects, you won't be
able to get one of these over your chest. No way, you just can't.
I was planning on sewing a zipper into one of mine for some added
ventilation but now I must do so just to get enough room to make it
wearable.
Good quality microfiber, excellent craftsmanship on the hot-glued 3M
reflective tape, reasonable prices. I got 2 short sleeves and one long
sleeve for about $60, including shipping. That starts at only about $8
each for the shirts but the striping is another $7 each and almost ten
bucks for shipping. Hmm, come to think of it, that's $20 a shirt,
perhaps that's a bit steep. Oh, well, at what price visibility? I'm
worth it.

You'll notice the recumbent rider at their Web site. I think they
could reposition the striping to more appropriate locations for us,
high up on the shoulder blades and down the bakc of the arms, but the
company doesn't respond to product suggestions.
