I've been eyeing this parcel of woods in between North
Locust and Lincoln Road in Marlton for some time now. It's
only about .25 miles from my front door. So tonight I
followed the high tension lines to the start of these woods
and began tracing the outskirts. There it was, the doorway.
Through the door and onto some sweet underused singletrack.
Very nice twists and turns, roots, three stream crossings,
and someone built some nice north shore type stunts as well.
All totaled about three compact miles with the potential to
add two or three more. Yeh, it's short but it's a nice after
dinner workout that's close by. I'll be bringing my rake
next time to add some more trail and clean up some junk.
