Hi there, this is my first post so please be gentle with me! Apologies in advance if this is posted in the wrong part of the forum.
Basically I've currently got a road bike, and am now looking to add a hopefully fairly fast/light tourer for touring holidays and also commuting to work.
I live in the UK, my touring will mainly be around the UK & Ireland. I take travelling light to an extreme, but would require the bike to carry at least a rear rack loaded with a couple of paniers and maybe the odd bit of camping equipment too.
My budget is £600-700 though I could stretch that up to £900 if it was especially valuable to do so.
I'm looking for advice on which direction to go in, any help you can offer would be much appreciated.
