I am off to the Alsace for Easter week and this trip have the chance to do some day walks. I know this area very well having visited about 6 times in the past but mainly done all the tourist / city /town /village visits. I remember the Lac Blanc and Lac Noir being very scenic and would like to do a few walks, possibly up to about 10k ( non walking partners with us this trip ) preferably on way marked trails. I have googled for walking guides without success. Can anybody recommend a website / book or just give a few ideas from your own trips to the Vosge mountains. As always all response appreciated.

Last time I went to the Vosges at (early) Easter it was shrouded in freezing cloud and everywhere was shut. I'd leave it another 6 weeks!
