  1. Hello,
I am looking for some opinions on what would be a better fit for my needs as well as which bike is better quality. I live in New Orleans and have about a 3-4 mile commute. I am looking into purchasing either the Raleigh Route 1 or the Trek 7.3, trek 7.2 fx. The Treks are both hybrid style bikes while the Raleigh is more similiar to a road bike. I have taken rides on both and I cannot decide which I like better. As well as commuting I use my bike for additional riding during the week. All of the bikes seem great. I find the Raleigh to be faster and have a better take off due to the 28 millimeter tires. The treks both have 35 mm tires. I was curious if 28 mm would give me problems when riding through a city. I dont ride on gravel at all, but some of the roads suffer from poor conditioning. Well any advice would help. Thanks!
