I have to have my knees MRIed next week and I wonder if anyone has been through this procedure and what should I expect. I read once that it was was possible to "feel" the radiation during the scan.
I have Ti implants in my jaw and hope this will not be a complication.

You will feel and hear quite a racket, banging and such noise for about 20-30 minutes. Your titanium implants won't be affected, and there is no "radiation" as such, just a powerful magnetic field, which you won't feel at all.

Thanks, I'll report back after tuesday. With two knees, this must take 1 hour!
