I'm interested in putting a hardshell seat on a Burley Django. Can anybody offer any advice on things to do or not do when adapting a hardshell to a recumbent? Some questions that come to mind:
Are there difference between working with fiberglass and carbon shells?
I've read that Aluminum shouldn't come in contact with carbon fiber because of galvanic corrosion. Does similar care need to be taken with steel and carbon fiber?
Do most hard shells come pre-drilled, or do holes need to be drilled after purchase?
Are some seats notoriously difficult to modify, while others have reputation for being easy adapt to various recumbents.
If anybody out there has put a hardshell on a Burley Django or Hepcat, what how easy/difficult was it?

I changed out the fiberglass seat with a carbon fiber version last month, they don't come pre-drilled
