Hi everyone, I had bought a Giant OCR Touring, for a trip I plan to take when I return from my current military duty. The bike is sitting and waiting for me in Birmingham, AL. I had my local bike shop order it before I left. Anyway, all I knew about the bike was from the sales brochure and the Giant website. It turns out that one of the big selling points for the bike may be a problem. It comes with Avid mechanical disc brakes, which I've been extremely happy with on my mountain bike, so I thought they would be great on a touring bike. Well I'm being told that racks will be difficult to fit due to the disc brakes. So is there anyone out there with an OCR Touring bike that can give me any advice? Thanks...
