hello all.
i am new to the world of long distance road biking and have recently decided to go for quite a big ride from barcelona to london. i will be setting off early-mid august.
i'm looking for advice from anyone who rides alot; has riden north from barcelona - either through france or along the med coast and through the alps(is this possible?) and germany; knows weather conditions for this time of year that affect cyclists particularly; and any advice on what sort of bike to buy - i'll be buying from barcelona and looking to spend only up to £150 or 250 euros.
as i say i'm new, and also not in great shape! so ANY advice at all would be greatly appreciated.
