I've already suggested the answer long ago and why he won't do time.
Only a small part of his 'salary' is really such, and all the rest is
carried by ESPN as charitable donations. He can prove that no
'reasonable person' would believe that he earned any large portion of
his 'salary'.

His real offense is the failure to fill out the incorporation papers
to qualify as a 501c3 basket case.

Why is $577k unreasonable for a sportscaster over a 4 year period? I'd
imagine that being affilaited with ABC, there are union minimums as far
as what you earn.

If you saw his work during the TDF you would understand why some think he
was grossly overpaid.
